We are delighted to announce the inaugural launch of the PrisonBreak Triathlon at Brandvlei Maximum Security Prison sanctioned by CTTA/TSA. Located just outside the bustling town of Worcester and surrounded by a breathtaking landscape of mountains and a large expanse of water, this event promises to be the biggest escape yet!!

The PrisonBreak Triathlon features three exciting challenges: the Mini Escape (Sprint), the Maxi Escape (Standard), and the Gang Version (Teams). Participants will have the opportunity to test their skills and endurance in this unique triathlon.

Bring your set of tools, escape gear and a competitive mindset as you take on the Mini Escape, a shorter version of the triathlon designed for participants seeking a thrilling challenge. For those looking to push their limits further, the Maxi Escape offers a longer and more demanding course that will truly test your physical capabilities.

Additionally, the Gang Version allows teams to collaborate and strategise their way through the triathlon, fostering a sense of camaraderie and teamwork.

Mini Escape Sprint: 750m Swim, 15km Bike and 5km Run - R 750.00

Maxi Escape Standard: 1500m Swim, 40km Bike and 10km Run - R 950.00

Gang Version for either Mini or Maxi Escape - R 855.00 and R 1050.00

This is a Non-Drafting event  - TT bikes are allowed.

SPRINT :  3 HOURS AFTER START
MAXI :  4 HOURS, 30 MINUTES AFTER START

 

The minimum age for the Mini Escape is 16 years old by 31st December 2023.

The minimum age for the Maxi Escape is 18 years old by 31st December 2023.

The minimum age for the youngest member of the Mini Gang is 15 years old by 31st December 2023, the other 2 members must already be 16 years older.
