LEARN HOW TO MAKE YOUR RUNNING SESSION MORE FUN

BY SEBASTIAN KIENLE

In our second Orca Flash Tip, Ironman World Champion Sebastian Kienle explains how to make your training more fun by using cross running, a term that Sebi uses to refer to cross training when he runs. As a athlete at the top of his field, Sebi knows that running can get boring, so offers the following keys to help make it more fun, but also gain strength while you’re at it.

He suggests combining running with sets of fitness increasing exercises – try three minutes of concentrated exercises for every 10 minutes of running. You will get the most enjoyment out of this type of training if you’re able to use the elements in your environment such as trees, benches, rocks etc to incorporate.
